Corporate Responsibility

When we partner with suppliers, we ask them to acknowledge that the supplier, as well as its subcontractors, will comply with all applicable laws that prohibit slavery and human trafficking.

We also have a Code of Conduct for our partners that intends to set forth our standards and expectations for key areas of corporate responsibility, including a requirement that our suppliers not support forced labor or collaborate with organizations that use illegal employment practices.

One good example of this is our t-shirt manufacturer.  Our t-shirts are produced and branded by Bella+Canvas.  Bella+Canvas builds products on an ethical foundation that honors human rights through every step of the process. This begins with where they source cotton. To ensure that their supply chain is free of cotton produced under forced-labor conditions in China's Xinjiang Region, they continuously conduct isotope testing on existing inventory across their distribution network to confirm its ethical origins.

With Bella+Canvas, responsibility means conducting business in a socially responsible and ethical manner, supporting human rights, and engaging, respecting and supporting the communities and cultures with which they work. As long-time supporters of ethical working conditions, their workplace standards exceed those required by both the Fair Labor Association (FLA) and Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP).

Environmental impact (printing and ink):

To help reduce merchandise ending up in landfills, our products are NOT sitting on a warehouse shelf waiting for you to place an order.  95% of our products are not produced until you place your order.  This is why it takes us a little longer to get your order produced and shipped to you, but it's the right thing to do to lessen our impact on the environment.  Below are other ways we help:

DTG products
For Direct To Garment products, we use Kornit Water-based and NeoPigment inks that are Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. These inks provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4.

Sublimation products
We use Mimaki Dye Sublimation Ink Sb411 and Sawgrass SubliJet HD ink for sublimation products. Both of these inks are Oeko-Tex™ certified. For some sublimation products, we also use MYSUBLI-E Sublimation Transfer Ink.

Phone cases
We use Mimaki UV Inkjet Ink Lus 120 ink for phone cases. This ink is GREENGUARD Gold certified, which means the ink meets the gold certification for building materials, finishes, and furnishings.

Posters
For posters, we use Epson UltraChrome GS3 ink. This ink is also GREENGUARD Gold certified.

Other non-apparel products
For mugs, we use Sawgrass SubliJet HD ink. For selected non-apparel products, stickers, and canvas, we use EPSON SC80610/80600 ink.

Most of our products come from our partner in Charlotte, NC who finishes our products with our exclusive designs.  Other products may come from an additional partner in Las Vegas, NV.  Both of these suppliers may also ship from their smaller printers within the US when it can help to reduce greenhouse gases by shipping from a facility closer to where the product is shipping to.

We do have a few products that ship from third party suppliers that have been thoroughly vetted as mentioned above.  These partners are located in China and the United Kingdom.
